This post is all about the work we do within our FREE monthly coaching classes and why you find this time for your business. How often do you take the time to think about your business and its growth? Or how often do you engage with other business owners to hash out the best growth tactics for your business' growth? As business owners, we can (and should) all realize that there's plenty of money to go around and holding back because of competitive fear is truly ridiculous.
As a small business owner, there's no one doing what YOU do.
Understanding what tactics support your overall strategy is so important. Sometimes, when I mentor a company, the main take-a-way I advise is, "find some time to step away and think about your strategic vision." When you take the time to think about what’s working, and what’s not, you may happen upon, most importantly, figuring out what you like to do, and what you want to ditch!
One of the things I love to see owners do, is create a "Love It or Ditch It" list. It's simply writing out what you love doing in your business and what you hate. Then we'll create a budget to outsource the ditch-list so you can soar doing what you love.
In our monthly coaching classes, we'll focus on about ten specific topics that have direct impact on whether or not your business expands. And yet, any business topics are on the table. While facilitating the discussion, I will play devil's advocate and get you clear on exactly what should be next on your to-do list. The entire time will focus on bridging the gap between where you are, and where you want to be.
We'll talk about your strategic vision first, where do you want to be in the next two years, and what would your best-case-scenario be? When moving through those visions, wouldn't you love to hear what other business owners are thinking about this? It's a big question. But when we can speak openly about our product pricing, and the best ways to gain revenue, or how to capitalize on our strengths to provide the best customer service and offers; business owners often find something to take away as the catalyst for a positive move.
We'll rate ourselves on our readiness for a variety of potential outcomes. The sessions are not about telling you what to do, they are about getting you clear on what it is YOU want for your own business' growth, and ultimately for your own thriving lifestyle.
Once we move through the strategic vision portion, we'll move into a marketing audit set up to help you understand which marketing will work best for your business. More IS NOT better!
