We live in a small town, and operate our studio from our home. Our second-generation, family-owned and operated candle company offers top-quality, hand-poured, handmade soy blend candles, carpet sprinkles, wax melts, room sprays, and so much more.
Having always been an artist and selling various gift items, I began by making one-of-a-kind collectibles and candles at home. Our son, Jack, was curious, artistic, and smart. He learned about entrepreneurship and quality control from watching the careful attention given to handmade creations.
Initially, Jack did not want anyone to know about his disability. We launched the company when he was 15, thinking this venture would help him navigate his way through his autism diagnosis. Within three years, at 18, he has become an intricate part of this family business.
Confident, and a wonderful public speaker, Jack is now very willing to speak to customers and talk about the business, and he is happy to share his story. He quickly discovered his talent for pouring candles, utilizing weights and measurements of oils, testing wick performance, as well as new-found satisfaction in making and selling our candles, room sprays, and carpet sprinkles.
