onacci and Michael P. Canavan. Both men started their careers as flooring installers out of Local Union 1759 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After a combined 40 years of installation experience they saw an opportunity to create a company that could offer a great service to the marketplace in Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas. That service is to provide a project that is focused on giving our customers the highest quality installations that remain on time and within the original budget. Whether it be a small one-room renovation or a complete hotel remodel, Tri State Flooring treats each job with the same care and attention. Tri State Flooring Inc. is a commercial flooring sales and installation company that strives to give its customers the most professional job that the industry has to offer. All labor is 100% union and we take great pride in saying that. All of our installers have been through the Keystone Mountain Lakes Regional Council Joint Apprenticeship Program, a rigorous 4-year program that ensures each installer has a firm foundation when entering into the floor covering profession. All installers are encouraged to continue their education with Journeyman Upgrade classes and different certifications offered by the flooring manufacturers we partner with on every project. All installers are required to obtain a certification through the INSTALL program, a certification that tests each installer on different aspects of floor covering.
