Creations by Becki

Becki's love of art began during her early childhood years as she would frequently sketch from pictures in magazines, books and just about anything else surrounding her. By high school a natural talent became obvious within her first art class. She felt most comfortable with painting at that time which later became her major in college. She graduated from Rhode Island College in 1994, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, concentrated in painting and theatre technical design, as well as receiving an Associate Degree in Fine Arts from C.C.R.I. in Warwick, R.I.,1990.

Her diverse background as an artist lends her the creativity which is captured in her work. Becki's early experience involved painting sets in college theatre and at the Trinity Repertory Theatre in Providence, R.I. Later, she furthered her passion for the arts working on various film sets in Los Angeles, California. For most of the past decade, she pursued her career as a freelance artist while broadening her talents in painting, sculpting, architectural design, and photography. In more recent years Becki has taken some of her original artwork and designed unique 'wearable art' apparel, such as scarves, handbags and much more!

Through years of gaining knowledge and experience, she found most satisfaction in creating original oil paintings from her extensive photography collection which is now also available. "Creations by Becki" is the result of her focus to share her artwork with others hoping to bring them much enjoyment!
