My name is Saron Simon Mechale and I’m the founder of goTeff! :) I was born and raised in Ethiopia. Admittedly, when I started goTeff, I didn’t know the first thing about food. But, I knew one thing for sure; that I had big dreams for my home country. A Pan-African feminist at heart, I always wished for a way to connect two of my real passions: rebranding the Ethiopian and African story while empowering communities, especially young girls and women in Ethiopia. That’s exactly why Girls Gotta Run is goTeff’s chosen partner in impact.
