Business Overview
With over 35 years in building trades and 16+ years in business, Renaissance is a family legacy, with four generations having worked from the same location in Cranston, beginning with my great-grandfather and grandfather, who ran Felix Weigand Sheet Metal and Felix Weigand & Son, followed by Duct Systems, which was operated by my Father (Tom) and his partner Lenny. My company carries on the traditions of personal attention to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction that were established by my family over the years. I have over 35 years of experience in custom ductwork fabrication and installation, pipefitting and HVAC. Over the years I’ve worked on large scale commercial and industrial projects as well as smaller commercial and residential projects. At present, the majority of our projects is custom-built residential new construction in Rhode Island. In addition to HVAC system design and installation, we also provide service and equipment upgrades/replacement to residential and commercial clients. We manufacture ductwork and custom sheet metal projects for other contractors and clients. We install high efficiency furnaces, AC, including ductless mini-split systems I am licensed in RI as a Master Pipefitter, Refrigeration Master, Sheet Metal Master, and am a registered General Contractor in RI. I also have Pipefitter, Sheet Metal and Refrigeration Technician licenses in Massachusetts, and I’m a licensed Sheet Metal Contractor in Connecticut.
