Spumoni's was founded on a few basic principles developed by Papa George, who came to America in 1916. Papa George understood that a mealtime spent with family and friends was more than just a routine daily activity. It was an occasion! He taught his son George and his son-in-law Carroll to treat their guests as family and friends, not only because it was good business, but because it was the best way to enjoy and experience life. Papa George loved the restaurant profession and he taught his family to love it too.
