The Ballet Center is a non-competition, performance-based dance studio located in Bristol, Rhode Island. We proudly offer dance training in a safe and trusting environment thereby helping each student be the best dancer they are meant to be. We offer classes in classical ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary. Our class size is limited therefore ensuring that every student receives the attention they need to help them grow. Dance classes are available for children as young as 3 and all the way up through adult. In addition to offering the highest quality dance education by our amazing Faculty, The Ballet Center takes great pride in balancing quality with fun events throughout the year such as seasonal parties, spirit weeks and challenges! In the summer we offer Summer Dance Workshops during which students can explore dance styles as well as several fun Dance Camps, full and half day. Every February The Ballet Center dedicates a week to “Love Your Body” encouraging students to work on positive body imaging, using the mirror to only correct dance technique and not to criticize themselves in a destructive manner. With all the “perfect” body images to which our children are subjected, especially through social media, we feel it is important to counter with learning to appreciate and celebrate every individuals uniqueness.- Bristol, RI
