Owned and operated by Colleen Collins, Tranquil Touch is a private boutique offering individualized experiences in a relaxing, warm, and welcoming environment. Aesthetics experiences include facials, body scrubs, paraffin treatments, massage, energy healing, reflexology, eyelash extensions, and makeup application services for weddings and special occasions. At Tranquil Touch your every comfort is considered; from the unique natural décor throughout, to the custom-made memory foam adjustable facial and massage beds in the Treatment Rooms to the bentwood relaxation chairs in the Tranquility Room. Attention is paid to every detail in order to make each clients’ individual experience memorable. Colleen's concern for her clients extends beyond simple physical comfort. Using a "farm-to-face" approach to skincare, Tranquil Touch uses only natural fine herbal skincare products, including Skin Script Rx Skin Care, a leading provider in the natural skincare industry based out of Tempe, Arizona. Skin Script Rx is a natural but clinical skincare designed for anti-aging, hyperpigmentation, and teen and adult acne. Tranquil Touch also uses Waxing Kara skincare products. Colleen supports local business partners, local charities, and offers free treatment services to cancer survivors and caregivers on a monthly basis through the "Give To Live" program that brought national recognition from the SCORE Foundation in 2017. It is this attention to detail that resulted in Tranquil Touch receiving Rhode Island Monthly's 2016 Best of Rhode Island Editor's Pick for 'Best Place for Inner Beauty'. She has also owned and operated Makeup Artistry by Colleen since 2002.
