"Rustigian Rugs was established by V. George Rustigian in 1930 in the midst of the Great Depression. "Rusty" started the business when the Depression hit. He dropped out of Harvard Law School and started the business.
"At the time my father died, my vision was for success; because I thought if I named the business after my father, it would take care of me. And it has. I study my business and how to continually improve it. We have established a firm base and have a strong presence with both designers and retail customers."
