Business Overview
Longshore is a new, small batch coffee roastery located in Providence, Rhode Island, with a mission to bring excellent global coffees to our local community—and yours, too! We believe that by offering simple, consistently delicious coffee in an approachable manner, we can bring specialty and commodity consumers together around a common cup.
Longshore launched online sales in the fall of 2021 and will soon begin a mobile vending operation, as well as wholesale and pop-ups around Rhode Island. Meet Your Seller
Stephen Miller is the owner and roaster of Longshore; he started the business after spending 6 years as a high school social studies and entrepreneurship teacher in downtown Providence. After helping hundreds of teenagers create their own business plans, Stephen decided to launch a business of his own. And thus Longshore was born!
In addition to roasting coffee, Stephen loves spending time with his lovely wife, Bethany (a true boss babe indeed), and their chocolate Labrador retriever, Abraham. He also has an academic background in Biblical studies and is an active member of his local church, where he regularly plays bass and acoustic guitar on the worship team and occasionally helps in various teaching roles.
